What is Critical Mass?
Critical Mass is a global cycling activism movement where riders gather and move together through city streets.
The concept is based on the saying: "Safety in numbers." The more cyclists ride together, the safer and more visible they become.
The ride takes place once a month, on the last Friday, in cities all around the world.
History in Georgia
Various groups have organized the ride over the years. In recent years, the name has been closely associated with Tamaz Tikanadze.
