Hi, I’m Mar Mikhelidze — a cyclist, mountain bike guide, and the Bicycle Mayor of Tbilisi.

Cycling for me is more than sport. It is freedom, connection, and a way to experience the world differently. Since 2022, I’ve been serving as the Bicycle Mayor of Tbilisi, working to make our city safer and more welcoming for people who choose to ride.

I am a certified mountain bike instructor, having completed the Instructor-Guide Level I course by the European organization of mountain bike instructor-guides. This training strengthened my skills in tour planning, safety management, and structured guiding in mountain terrain.

When I design a tour, I focus on:

• Careful route planning based on group level and terrain
• Safety and confidence building on climbs, descents, and technical sections
• Positive group dynamics and supportive atmosphere
• Sharing the beauty of local landscapes and culture along the way

Whether we are riding through the city or climbing into the mountains, my goal is to make every tour safe, inspiring, and memorable. I want every rider to finish the day feeling stronger, more confident, and connected to the journey.
